Slow Cooker Chicken and Stuffing
Sometimes you just want some creamy, savory old fashioned comfort food. But you have boneless/skinless chicken breasts, and they don't exactly say "comfort food". They do in this recipe!
It doesn't get much easier than this. If you can layer ingredients you can make chicken and stuffing in the crock pot.
Here are the simple steps to make this recipe:
Spray the crock with cooking spray. Then layer the seasoned chicken in the bottom. Pour the bag of stuffing over the chicken.
Mix together the soup, sour cream, and water and spread over the stuffing. Then layer the frozen green beans over the top.
Put the lid on and cook. Come back in a few hours to a yummy one-pot meal of chicken and stuffing with green beans!
Can I Add Different Veggies?
Yes! Feel free to toss in some baby carrots, corn, or any other veggie that you like.
Another yummy add-in is chopped cooked bacon or real bacon bits.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Stuffing
Ingredients
- 3-4 Boneless/Skinless Chicken Breasts
- 1/2 tsp Kosher Salt 1/4 tsp table salt
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 6 oz Box Stuffing (chicken flavor)
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- 1 10.5 oz can Cream of Chicken Soup
- 1/3 cup Water
- 1 14 oz pkg Frozen Green Beans*
Instructions
- Spray the crock with cooking spray. Then salt and pepper both sides of the chicken breasts and set in the bottom of the crock in one layer.
- Sprinkle the garlic powder over the chicken. Then pour the stuffing over the chicken, covering it.
- in a bowl, whisk together the sour cream, soup, and water. Spread over the stuffing evenly, covering all of it.
- Add the frozen green beans on top of the soup layer, spreading them out evenly.
- Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on High for 3-4 hours, or Low for 5-7 hours, or until the chicken reaches 165° internal temperature.
- Stir the stuffing before serving.
