- 4 Pork Chops 1" to 1 1/2" thick
- 2-3 Tbsp Olive Oil
SPICE MIX
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 2 tsp Onion Powder
- 3/4 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
Preheat oven to 400° F
Place the pork chops in a baking dish*.
Brush the olive oil on both sides of the chops, then sprinkle the spice mix on both sides.
Bake the pork chops for 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the meat is 140° F. Cook time will depend on the thickness of the pork chops. Don't let them overcook or they will dry out.
After taking them out of the oven, lightly cover with foil and let rest for 10 minutes before serving**.
*Make sure the baking dish isn't too much larger than the chops as the extra space in the dish will dry them out easier. For example, if you are using a 9"x13" dish, and only 2 pork chops, there will be some extra space in the dish. Try finding a smaller baking dish.
You could add some veggies to the dish to fill in that extra space. Drizzle them with olive oil and a little salt.
**Serve with potatoes, rice, steamed or roasted vegetables, salad, cauliflower rice, pasta, or any side dishes you like!
