Air Fryer Baked Potatoes

Ingredients

  • Russet Potatoes
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt

Toppings

  • Butter
  • Shredded Cheese
  • Bacon Bits
  • Chives, Onion
  • Sour Cream

Instructions

  • Scrub the potatoes and pat dry with a paper towel.
  • Poke holes into each potato several times, using a fork.
  • Place the potatoes into the basket of the air fryer. Brush the potatoes with olive oil, then sprinkle all sides of the potatoes with some salt (amount to your taste).
  • Set the air fryer to 400° F and air fry the potatoes for 30 minutes. Then flip them over and air fry for another 5-15 minutes (this time will depend on the size of your potatoes).
  • Potatoes are done when a knife slides into the potato easily.
  • Carefully remove from the air fryer and make a slice along the top and fill with your favorite toppings, including salt and pepper.

Notes

*For the toaster oven style of air fryers, cook at 375° F.  for 20 minutes, then flip over and air fry for another 20 minutes, depending on the size of the potato.
 
Please note that different models of air fryers cook with different results. Test 1 potato to see how your model cooks.
