Ingredients

  • 4 Pork Chops 1" to 1 1/2" thick
  • 2-3 Tbsp Olive Oil

SPICE MIX

  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 3/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400° F
  • Place the pork chops in a baking dish*.
  • Brush the olive oil on both sides of the chops, then sprinkle the spice mix on both sides.
  • Bake the pork chops for 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the meat is 140° F. Cook time will depend on the thickness of the pork chops. Don't let them overcook or they will dry out.
  • After taking them out of the oven, lightly cover with foil and let rest for 10 minutes before serving**.

Notes

*Make sure the baking dish isn't too much larger than the chops as the extra space in the dish will dry them out easier. For example, if you are using a 9"x13" dish, and only 2 pork chops, there will be some extra space in the dish. Try finding a smaller baking dish.
You could add some veggies to the dish to fill in that extra space. Drizzle them with olive oil and a little salt.
**Serve with potatoes, rice, steamed or roasted vegetables, salad, cauliflower rice, pasta, or any side dishes you like!
