Equipment

  • 6 qt or larger Slow cooker / crock pot

Ingredients

  • 8-12 lb Spiral Sliced Bone-in Ham (make sure the ham fits!)
  • 1 cup Honey
  • 1 20 ounce can Sliced Pineapple
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger Powder optional
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Cloves optional

Instructions

  • Mix together the honey, juice from the can of pineapple, and brown sugar together.
  • Mix in optional ginger and cloves, if using.
  • Place your ham into the slow cooker and pour over ¾ of the glaze mix.
  • Cover and cook in the slow cooker on low for 3-4 hours (140° F internal temperature).
  • Carefully remove the ham from the slow cooker onto a foil lined sheet pan.
  • Pour over the rest of the glaze.
  • Put under the broiler in your stove at 425°F for about 5-7 minutes, watching closely. You want the glaze to caramelize, not burn.
  • Serve!

Notes

Save the ham bone to make some Split Pea Soup!
