Baked Parmesan Crusted Fish

Tilapia filets are cut into strips or nuggets, breaded and baked. A delicious tartar sauce is the perfect dipping sauce.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • cup All-Purpose Flour
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Pepper
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan
  • 1 cup Seasoned Panko
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Parsley Flakes
  • 4 large Tilapia Filets
  • Olive Oil Cooking Spray

Dipping Sauce

  • cup Mayonnaise
  • cup Sour Cream
  • 1 Tablespoon Dijon Mustard
  • 2 Tablespoons Ketchup
  • 2 Tablespoons Dill Pickle Relish

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400° F and spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray.
  • Combine the flour, salt and pepper together in a shallow dish. In another dish, pour the eggs. In a third shallow dish combine the parmesan, panko and parsley flakes.
  • Cut the tilapia filets into strips or nugget sized pieces. Dredge each piece in the flour, then the egg and finally in the panko.
  • Place the fish on the pan and place in the oven.
  • Bake the fish for 10-12 minutes.
  • Combine all the sauce ingredients together in a bowl and serve with the fish.

Notes

These can also be cooked in the air fryer at 400°. Spray with cooking spray, then fry for 8 minutes, then flip, spray and fry for an additional 4 minutes.
Storage:
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
